What learning with Mine and Learn is like

How much does it cost?

We bill monthly at a fixed rate from September to June – no surprise invoices. The school year includes 35 lessons.

Price:
1 hour a week: 420 PLN / month (120 PLN per hour)
2 hours a week: 770 PLN / month (110 PLN per hour)
First lesson: Free

A lesson, step by step

Step 1 – Log on to the server
Tutor and student connect online. They enter the game and from that moment on, the entire conversation is conducted exclusively in English – until the end of the lesson.

Step 2 – Playing and talking
The pupil builds, explores, fights – whatever is happening in the game at the time. The voiceover artist comments, asks questions, reacts. They do not translate words – they show their meaning through context and situation.

Step 3 – Painless homework
After the lesson, the pupil gets a link to a video from a YouTuber. We tailor it to the pupil's interests – gaming, sport, humour, whatever they like. They watch it, get used to the how English sounds, and come back for the next lesson.

What is needed to start lessons at Mine and Learn

A computer or laptop (we do not conduct classes via consoles or mobile phones).
A good internet connection.
A microphone (can be built into the headphones)
A copy of Minecraft: Java Edition, cost around 100 PLN (for the trial lesson, it is possible to provide a game account for free)
Discord communication app

Frequently asked questions

Do you need to know how to play Minecraft?

No – many of our students started with no prior experience of playing the game. Minecraft is a tool for learning the language, not a entry requirement.

Who are these classes for?

For anyone who wants to actually learn English – children, teenagers, adults. There is no upper age limit. Motivation matters, not age.

What if I prefer a different game to Minecraft?

Minecraft is the main tool, but not the only one. If you have another game through which you want to practise English, get in touch – we can often adapt to it.

What is the first lesson like?

The first lesson is always an introductory one – we check your level, talk about what you like and agree on how we will work. No grading, no stress.
